Shirou Kamui-
Kamui is a 15 year old student. His childhood friends were Fumma and Kotori. Moving from Tokyo, when his mother died she requested that he return to fullfill his destiny. Quiet and brooding, Kamui is loyal to his friends. He's also quite powerful, being told numerous times that his name means his possesses the power of God.
Arisugawa Sorata-
Also a student (though older than Kamui), he is a monk of Mount Kouya. He is full of humor and energry. He also has the power to shoot lightening from his hands.
Sumeragi Subaru-
Subaru is the 13th head of the powerful Sumeragi Clan, a powerful onmyouji that is to protect the people of Japan from evil spirits. His twin sister was killed eight years previously by Seishirou, whom Subaru fell in love with as a young boy. Because of the pains from his past, he is like Kamui in his brooding, temperate nature.
Kishuu Arashi-
The Hidden Maiden of the Holy Shrine of Ise, she has a sword that comes out of her left hand that she fights with. She's also the love interest of Arisugawa Sorata.
Aoki Seiichirou-
Aoki is a family man, with a wife and a child. He works as an editor, and is a kind man. He can manipulate wind.
Kasumi Karen-
Works in a seedy bath house, and wears lingerie. She can create and manipulate fire. Her attraction is to Aoki, though he is married and cannot return her feelings. But they do work together a lot.
Nekoi Yuzuriha-
The youngest Dragon of Heaven, she is an inugami-master (a dog spirit named Inuki) of the Mitsumine Shrine. She loves Kusanagi, a Dragon of Earth.
